Would anyone know if the (exterior) door rear view mirror "rubber caps" are the same for right hand drive and left hand drive. I am quite experienced and know the mirrors are different. So I talk about the rubber caps only. I cannot see the rubber caps for left and right hand cars being any different but on e-bay they say, left hand drive only.
I with to thank anyone that can clarify in antisipation, Joe.

You need to think in terms of mirror images for fitting (no pun intended).
What is possible is to install an entire passenger mirror from a LHD car onto the driver side of a RHD car.
Saw this done on a RHD W124 at a meet-up years ago, looked very smart complete with remote joystick.

Kudly can be done .that would then be the passengers mirror from LHD fitted to drivers side of RHD making them both power mirrors .Good if you could get a passengers door mirror from a left hand drive car

Exactly. I always intended to get that done on my 124 but never got round to it.

you would need to import - see them often on eBay from Germany, Poland, complete with wiring but not with joystick (though RHD item should be same)
