Mercedes W203 owner saying Hi

Just a quick Hello from me in Exeter, Devon.

Heres our Mercedes C Class W203, its been really well looked after over the years by dad, with actually it needing very little apart from servicing and tyres.
Unfortunately, we are facing an electrical drain problem which we simply cannot resolve and has really started to take the love away from the car!!! I will make a seperate post about the problem, but i would be very grateful or any recommendation for anybody who can help in the nearby or even further afield area as want to solve this and get back to enjoying the car

There are good videos on YouTube about tracking drains.

get a decent dc mA clamp meter that will read low values.

check what is the acceptable mA drain for your model.

set aside a day……..

good luck tracking it down.

some common drains can be :-

Block heater on diesels.
Failing alternator diode pack.
COMAND head units not shutting down
Alarm siren failure.

search ‘battery drain’ top right of the page (magnifying glass icon) and read others results.
