Mercedes_benz Warranty

Hi all.
I would like to know if an M-class which was bought from MERCEDES_BENZ UK has a valid warranty of 3 years or 100,000 miles is valid throughout Europe.The car was registered new in the UK in feb 2006 and has now been transported to another EU country.Is the vehicle still under warranty until feb 2009?Thanks

Slightly tricky. MB themselves give a 2 yr warranty. The 3rd is provided by MBUK. So, I suspect any repairs would need to be arranged/approved between the dealer and MBUK. That said, I'd be very surprised if, in effect, you could tell the difference. The dealere will simply bill MBUK direct.

I always like what you say, the other way round where there is only a 2 year guarantee in Europe, they will not extend it over here, so the original could well stand up
