Hi folks
I have the MercedesMe app installed on my smartphone and the blooming software works when it feels like it. Unfortunately it feels less 'like it' more and more.

I open the app and directly underneath the vehicle details and reg number it should show the various icons.... Lock status, windows, Charge Status etc etc. This work when it feels like it and sure enough, because I have started this thread, it now 'feels like it' and those icons are there!!!

Has anyone please got any ideas why this app is so temperamental?

I am most definitely not a techno fob, more like Tech.... No!!

Are you talking about the phone battery or the car battery please.

My experience with it was bad, it ate my phone battery by constantly trying to connect to it even when away from the car, functionality wise nothing really useful

I think I have a free three-year subscription and because I cannot get into this car, the only thing I really like is I can keep my eye on the tyre pressures. She who must be obeyed is not the most diligent of car owner and I just like the idea of keeping an eye on those pressures.

Changing the subject completely, I will have to have my son check to see if this car has a dipstick for the oil. Our old 320Cdi never had one but if this 2ltr petrol has a dipstick then that might be a job for number one son to monitor.

Thank you for mentioning the phone battery, it is something I will have to keep an eye on and again changing the subject.... have you deliberately spelled Torr-key wrong on that left panel Apologies for being nosey

It is a play on words as my car has been mapped and now puts out 700 Torques and I live in Torquay
