Hi,

I've got a set of split rim alloys & the lacquer is all pealing off & the wheels now look scruffy. Anyone know of a place to send/take them for a refurb: All of the places I have contacted will not touch them as they are split rim & need taking apart to do the job properly.

Help appreciated.

Thanks

S.

Hello simon, have you tried Pristine wheels in Northampton, they are the best in the UK, collection and delivery, and very fast,,very nice work, MB and many others use them.

Diamond Styling in West London will split them, acid dip them, prime, paint, laquer and bake them.. Effectively remanufacturing them from the gound up

Will they do these? They're two-piece with hex bolts - no nuts:

They'll tackle any type of wheel and ring them back to factory finish. They've got a lot of kit such as the the right lathes to mill the correct finish into the AMG rims, for example. Ony one drawback - you have to send your wheels to them - they can't take your car.
