Hi,
Recently needed 2 new fron tyres for the front of the E350 Cdi coupe. Replaced 18" Michelin Rainsport 3's with Michelin PilotSport 4's. Don't know if it's just my imagination, but they feel so much harder than the previous tyres. It's like I've gone up a wheel size.
Had to replace one of the rears today (puncture) and wanted to go with GY Assy 5's as that is what is on the other rear. But due to my poor eyesight (it's not bad but I must have misread the size) the tyre they ordered was the wrong size. The only one they had at he correct size was......... you guessed it a PilotSport 4.
So I now have 3 x Pilotsport and 1 x Assy 5.
I'll change the GY Assy in a couple of months to a PilotSport 4, but wondered if anyone had noticed a harsher ride from the PilotSport 4?
Tyre pressures are the same as before.
Steve
