mile per gallon guage

hi could someone help me my miles per gallon on a 1996 200 estate c class is out and i have replace the fuses not sure what i can do from here also how do i get to the back speaker as the door tirm is in the way thanks

Welcome to the forum.
Do you mean your mpg has gone up (less economical)?
To remove the rear door speaker have a look at this thread from the DIY section.

Maybe the bulb has gone? In which case puller tools and new bulbs can be purchased from a dealer, or the binnacle might be able to be pushed out from the back.

Hi,
Not sure which gauge you are referring too, as far as I,m aware the w202 (which a 1996 'C' class is) was never fitted with a MPG gauge.
But as parrot of doom say the instrument binnacle can either be pulled out with the aid of puller tools, or pushed out from under the steering wheel after removing the lower crash pad trim. Once instrument binnacle has been removed it is quite straight forward to replace the illumination lamps.

Get the bulbs from dealer before you start, there are different bulb types in a 1994 and a 1996 car.
