my neighbour has a 55 plate mini cooper cabriolet he can't drive any more because of disabilities, wants me to do the mot advisories and sell it for him, I know nothing about minis but don't want to let him down, are they sought after?

They're worth a bit more than hatch models. It will sell better in Spring or summer. A 2005 is worth between 2k and 3k depending on the mileage etc.

I have a Mini, what are the advisories? Can advise whether they are a PITA or not.

It has an MOT but he wants me to do all the advisories so it can be sold in good faith.

Quit a bit of work to sort all that:

New brake lines, drivesshaft off and boots replaced, the oil leak is likely sump or crank o ring or oil cooler seals or heat exchanger, all a bit of a faff and hard to access.

Ball joint and number plate light is an easy job
