Missing service’s

Seen a car on AT, E400 3L petrol, 2017 with 60K miles .
It’s only had 2 services at MB, not sure of details, but how many has it missed ??

When I went to PX my E class (2016 plate) at a main dealer, they told me it should have been serviced in July 2019 but hadn't been as there was no entry on the electronic service record. I then decided to show them the receipt from when they had serviced it last July so as to bring out a nice rosey glow in their cheeks.

The moral is just because there is no service record does not mean it has not been serviced.

ive known main dealers forget to update service books and digital records before , its not unusual

My E class had two services by two different MB dealers. Neither updated the DSB or even the car!

Some times you up load dsb think it’s on and for some reason it’s not entered I normally check the next day and print it of every time now

How will omissions like that affect the paint warranty, Mobilo and the like?
If you don’t have paperwork and the database isn’t updated where does one stand.
My car is missing a service. The dealer said they know it’s been done, they just don’t know where!

Yup, whilst the dealer might forget to stamp the service book (which I've had a few times) it is immediately obvious to you so you can rectify it. With DSB, it may be the following year or longer before you know it wasn't updated.
