Mistake ?

Just bought a 2010 A class W169 Blue effiency, Avantgarde 76K Miles.

Asked for an OASIS build spec from the local dealer which says the Lamella sunroof was a £ 672 option when fitted new, yet trawling the forums MB dealers charge £ 2/3K to fix them when they go wrong.

Have I bought a car or a mortgage extension ?

Lovely to drive though, slightly worried that she/he/other needs a new clutch.....

Any good independant Benz technicians in Sheffield....

The price to buy new is generally significantly less than the price of replacement parts… they add it into the build. A manual Mercedes, a rare beast indeed (should be extinct…)

I see adverts in Sheffield/Rother for a German car specialist, although I’ve not tried them.

I think you are worrying over a problem that doesnt exist on your car, so enjoy the car for the time being.
