Hi guys, I have a manual 65 plate vito 109cdi 1.6, and the steering column switch has failed on me, the ribbon on the angle sensor has torn, which in turn as thrown the airbag warning light up, the question is I'f I were to replace the unit with a used ebay one, would it have to be re programmed to the ecu? I have zentry but haven't clue how to do this? Does anyone know how? Thanks

Stevo do you have another one ? if not see Ebay listing number 234846087590 .
I've kinda sorted it now mate, I have to buy a brand new unit from merc now, because the used one that's in the pic where the clockspring as broken, it needs professionally programming to my van, so with a new unit that's ment for my van it's the case of just plug and play, along with an a small adjustment to the steering calibration via xentry which I can do myself. Thanks
