Ml 270 audio 10 / Radio removal

Hi I never got round to sorting the radio code problem out after a battery change it seems that I need the serial number of the radio

So how would I go about removing the radio and getting the serial number

If it is the original will not MB give it to you, the other way is to ask the re coding guys in your area,they will re code for £20 ish

I phoned Mercedes at Preston they where very very helpful
the guy in stores said is boss wasn't in and he was the only guy that had access to the codes so he took my VIN number & phone number & would phone me Monday at 1000 hrs with the code,
I said how much would it cost he said "nothing some places charge but we don't bother"

Unlike MB Blackburn that put me on hold & MB Bolton that needed the serial Number (why do these places not bother about ****ing people off)

Hi I got that radio code they never phoned me back so I phoned them and it cost me £17.00 maybe + vat and it worked not what I was hoping for but its fixed

I recomend that if you change your battery & don't know the radio code then connect a battery charge up to the car before you start.

Wish I got £17 for everything that I looked up, I have 50k post world wide, thats still only £850.000
