ML 270 B service

Greetings,

My ML270 is in need of a B service in 2000 miles.
Can anybody tell me what is a B service in addition to the oil change, I have recently changed the air filter and pollen filter and will be changing the rear discs and pads in the next few weeks.
The reason for asking is that I am quite enjoying doing the odd job on this quality car and if its simply an oil change with a few extras then if I can do the extras I will just put the car into the indi for an A service just to get the book stamped.

The B service is a much more comprehensive check, look in your service book near the back and this will state wot work should be carried out at which service and when.
many things arnt check on a A service, so some defects might go noticed and cause you problems. Fuel and air filters are additionals even on a B service now so not much parts deference.

Thanks for this, my indi in Stoke does a comprehensive check what ever service is booked, he found a few minor problems when it last had its A service.
