Ml 270 Ipod Hook Up Any Ideas

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW DO I HOOK UP AN IPOD TO A ML 270 CDI . I HAVE GOT THE FACORY BUILT COMMAND SAT NAV/ CD INSTEAD OF A STEREO. I WAS THINKING OF HAVING A IPOD SUB AND AMP HOOKED UP. DO I COMPLETLY HAVE TO REMOVE THE COMMAND FACTORY BUILT SYSTEM ?? OR IS THERE A WAY OF BYPASSING THIS ??? CANT SEE ANY AUX CONNECTORS ANYWHERE IN THE DASH TO THIS . HOW CAN I DO THIS PLEASE / ANY IDEAS???:sad::sad::sad:

There are many ways you can solve this problem. If your not upto doing it yourself, or you want all the parts/kit, look at Alfies site at www.comand.co.uk.

If you want to do it yourself, then you have these options:-
1. The COMAND has 2 auxilliary inputs, but you wont have an Aux socket in your car. You can buy a socket to mount in your dash and the wires/connector to plug in your COMAND.
2. You can buy a Dension Gateway 500 which connects into your fibre optic network (D2B) and allows you to plug an Ipod and a USB Pen/Hard Disk and keep any existing CD-Changer and add an Aux-In socket as well.

Regarding the Amp, if you havent got Bose then Ive seen on Ebay Germany, complete Bose speakers (taken out of scrapped ML's) and the Bose Amp! The Bose sound system is excellent, probably not Boy Racer boom level, but excellent non-the-less.
