ML 270 rear wiper

Hi
My rear wiper as stopped opposite the park position
I can here a clicking noise as I am driving, maybe be it is trying to park
There as be no smell of electric motor failure
And I can’t seem to locate the fuse for the wiper

Any help would be greatly appreciated

PS I only occasionally use the wiper

Hi Malc how are you keeping
I havent been on for a few weeks & yes I am still waiting for info, Iv'e read the fuse box index & cant seem to find the fuse but I'm still getting the clicking noise when the ignition is on

Hi Kevin,
The first step must be to remove the panelling and inspect the wiper mechanism, this will surely reveal the cause of the problem.

I would guess there is a failure of drive between the wiper motor and the combined gearbox which would explain the wiper parked in the wrong position and also the 'clicking' noise as the motor is continuously running because it isnt receiving a 'parked' signal from the gearbox.

I have sent him the details of the panel reomoval, and the wiper.

First check needs to be if voltage is going to it
