ML 320 rear antenna power.

Hi can anyone tell me what powers up the rear antenna under the headliner , as I have changed rear antenna and the antenna booster on tail gate. I have to place key next to door handle to unlock etc and radio reception is now poor. 2005 ML 320 W164 .

Its powered by the command unit.

E: more complicateds than, Roof antenna module receives power from Fuse 5 in the load compartment fuse box, and also is connected to the rear sam for power.

Hi thanks for quick reply will check fuse 5 tomorrow , fitted new rear sam at start of 2023 moved so water leaks would not land on it.

Hi no radio has very poor reception That why I changed amp on boot door and the antenna under headlining .
