Ml 350 w164 acceleration issue

Over the last month or two I’ve notice a wee tremble in the acceleration on my ml350. What used to be super smooth now has a noticeable ‘tremble’ when accelerating gently. Can’t notice it when accelerating hard and works perfectly in all other aspects. Is there a common thing I should know about?
