I have a single play unit in the dash and assume it can control a changer.
How easy is it to fit a changer in an ML ?
I assume it fits in the rear somewhere.
Is a cable needed from front to rear ?
Are brackets needed ?

Early MLs came with pre wiring for a multichager - then they stopped it! Best to phone MB parts dept. with you chassis number to see if it's the easy fit or strip-out job. If it's pre wired, it fits in the boot OS behind removable trim/compartment.

If the wiring is in place you should find it behind the cover that fits over the jack, on your left hand side.

Hello,

I've got round the need for a cd changer. Use your Ipod or get hold of a cheap one on flea bay.

I've now the ability to play 80gb though the radio and it works very well.

Its on the right hand side of the boot as you look from the back of the car.

Dig deep and if you find the cables, then its simple to add the changer. What year is the ML? Is it a facelifted one?
