ML Headlamp Swap

Hello to the forum My first post here.

Can anyone tell me what sort of job it is to swap the headlamps on a ML270 2001 model to the new 2004 headlamps ? Can it be done ?

if your thinking of changing from normal lights to xenon I wouldn't bother the cost and labour involved is very high probably about 2 grand

Bought the lights off ebay for £390 the set inc Del. Could have bought a pigtail adapter to make life easy for $40, but i changed the wiring myself.

You haven't got xenon headlights with range control for that price you may have just bought some expensive bulbs

ML HEADLIGHTS

Hi, I own a 2001 ML270CDI, facelift, with clear headlight lenses, my question is...Are these xenon lamps or normal? they are the standard lamps as far as i am aware, also, the amount of illumination on dip beam is poor compared to my previous c180, is this normal?

mmm, correct me if I am wrong. I have the pre-face lift ML, so I am not 100% sure on the newer ML's

The headlamps I see on the Ebay websites posted by Boyce are Standard Face lift headlamps! Is that correct?? I don't think they are Xenons!
