ML Headlights - 2001

Can anyone please tell me how easy/difficult it is, to change the headlights over from Left-Hand dip (UK) to Right-Hand dip (Europe) on my 2001 ML270?

I have the headlights.

OR - would it be easier to simply get some clear headlight convertors? If I did that, would I loose any headlight 'power'??
