Shame, enjoyed reading what you were doing.
Did it sell easily,

had it up for sale on fb for 2 weeks, had a couple of silly offers, had a couple of people asked to view and never turned up, 1st one who viewed it bought it, so wasn't too long a wait, thought it might take a while as short mot, 4x4 and not most economical.
going to take as much smaller stuff of spare ml (turbo,alternator lights/sensors etc) and scrap the car to get it out of way,
Havnt got room for 7 seats/gbox/exhaust/wheels etc so will be letting go them cheapish if anyone is interested

First league match Tuesday, in the wind,second with 11pound, but wind blew my number 8 pole section in to lake. No chance of finding it, so looking for another section which is a challenge on a 20 year old pole.
Mini had a rock break windscreen, being done on Thursday.
Today, central heating broke down.
I dare not start the ML !!!!!!!!

Nope, stayed all bad, heating engineer came out this morning, said the three way motorised valve has packed up, did not have on van, so will have to book another appointment. Called the company, cannot order part until i have paid another £177 (already paid £80 call out), and i cannot pay the bill as their payment system not working, so have to wait until tomorrow, then pay, then they will tell me when they can return and fit.
I will not use this company again, as they advertised they carry spares !!!!!! (its not only some car repairers !!!!).
If i had the time, i would do the job myself, but need heating and hot water back, so at their mercy.

Ok, bit less stressed today. Made a few calls, and if i did the job myself, parts would be about £120, so for 50 quid, might as well have them do it. Another £75 tomorrow for screen in the Mini.
Good news !!!, used Mercedes today, started first time, running well. (dam, should have kept quiet, bound to go wrong now)
Must point out has stood idle for three weeks, but as daughter out of university (dam virus) she wanted her car back.

Changing motorised valve looks a big job, but I had an insider tip from a gas engineer mate when Mine went. If you get the same valve you don't have to do any plumbing. Just unscrew the motor from the top of the assembly and replace with the new motor. Half hour, dry job. Simples.

That's if the motorised valve is one that comes apart, I've had ones that don't so you need to drain down the system
