Hi everyone,

you'll all probably seen this kind of posting before, so really sorry in advance but I'm new here!

I have a 2004 ml270 with 86k on the clock, it's getting really smelly in the engine bay area and in the cab itself which suggests to me that it's time to replace those injectors yet again... do I really have to go to mercedes to have them done or is there a cheaper alternative?

I could probably fit them myself, but I don't know all the components and terminology behind diesels, any advice would be much appreciated.

I think there is a bit more to replacing injectors than that, I am sure they have to be programmed or sequenced or something like that, use the search button, I am sure something will turn up.
