My ML 270 CDI has developed a strange fault.
The fault has happened twice now and has only happened when towing my Caravan :x.
When slowing down for a corner the vehicle completely lost drive, it was as if I had put it into neutral. The TIP tronic would also not work and no matter what I did I could not get it to drive. When I turned off the engine and re-started the fault had gone and it was problem free for about another 400 + miles before the fault re-appeared and then disappeared after turning off the engine and restarting. it has since driven another 500 + miles with no problems so far
