help/advice please.

Can anyone explain why, having changed my brake light bulbs to LED ones, my cruise control no longer works?

I have also changed my reversing lights to LED ones, as well.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllppppppppppp.

Change them back and see what happens.

It may be unrelated.

All was working perfectly OK with CC prior to the change.

I will swap tham back and re-check CC afterwards.

LED Update

This morning I changed the brake lights back to conventionl bulbs. The high-level brake light was left as an LED replacement.

The cruise control now works with no problem whatsoever.

Can someone please explain why this happens?

Is it something to do with the cancellation of cruise control when braking?

Are there differences between the electrical consumption of LED's and conventional bulbs?
