Hi new owner of a ML270 05 plate 45000 miles I have been on e-bay and won a set of power seats (black leather) on fitting them no power to them . It appears that the relay and fuse unit is missing as I had manual seats. the unit looks as it is just a plugin one containg fuses 10/11 on the aux fuse box by the drivers footwell .Is anyone aware of the part No and is this the only part that need to be fitted to convert a manual to electric seats Thanks Dave

HI finaly got the part from a breaker and fitted it ( had to buy the aux fuse box to get it) the relay and box is part of the loom . I managed to fit it by removing the seat with my head in the foot well torch in my teeth . There is a yellow clip on the connector remove that and the two power leads can be fitted ( it helps to be a Contortionist ) the seats now go up down back and forward . All I have to do is fit the heating switch another £50 for the console and switches

Hi Nutter,

I've just picked up a set of seats and after plugging them in they are dead as a dodo.. I had manual seats before so do I need an extra bit of loom?

Thanks for any help :)

I sussed it :) I found the ISO connector under the drivers side kick panel and traced the two orange wires back to the seat connectors.

I've wired up a relay and fuse and I now have working memory seats :D

When I get a chance I'll get the proper fuse/relay board from the scrappy.

Bit of a thread revival but anyone got any pictures of the bits needed to do this or whereabouts they are located on the car?
