ml350 comand,shall I trust the stealer ?

just been to norfolk in my 2004 ML350 and my 2003/2004 Tele atlas comand sat nav got me lost taking me down a country lane only to find the road closed with gates across it, it was clearly open within the last couple of years but not now, so how do I up date my sat nav. Also my comand facia has got telephone keys on it, how do you get that working, any help would be appreciated as if I have got to go to the stealer to ask,I would rather know a bit about it first

On the GPS - that's the downside of a GPS system, sometimes it's knowledge isn't as good as you might like. But the same could be said for maps - how many of us replace our maps every year. There may well be an updated CD available. You could get one from your dealer but personally I'd go to EBAY - a lot lot cheaper!
As far as the phone buttons are concerned - if the car has telephone pre-wire fitted then its simply a case of getting the correct cradle and module for your phone which will be £130 to a fortune. If it doesn't - and most don't as the pre-wire alone is far more than a normal car kit before you've added all the extra bits, then it can be done if you are willing to spend close to a 3 figure sum to get it all working.
You can tell on the C's and E's if there is a pre-wire fitted as they have a split centre armrest cover - where the cradle is located. Not certain about the M.
