Hi Guys
Got back from a trip to Asda on Saturday and noticed that one of the plastic caps that sits on top of the headlamp washers and pops up and down out of the bumper when you spray the headlights - was gone!
Not sure if it came loose and flew off when driving home (didn't see anything), or if someone nicked it. No signs of abuse though, and the washers still work perfectly.
Now, the replacement part is only £15 from Mercedes, but I'm assuming that will be black or grey plastic and will need spraying, which isn't the end of the world.
However, my main concern is how to get the ****** thing on. Des anyone here know how the cap attaches to the sprayers? Does it just snap on?
Also, to fit it will I need the sprayers in the up position? If so, how do I get them to stay in the up position so I can fit it?
It pops up for like 2 seconds. And I'm not that quick, and don't fancy soapy water in the eyes for my trouble!
Any ideas???
