Hello All,

I just wanted to share my experience with everyone from the service i received from Colin/MMT (Mobile Mercedes Tech). I had to get my ATF changed and although it was a long drive for me I still arranged to go today and met with Colin (Forum Member - SAM/UNIT).

I was given an excellent service. My car was given a full once over and have had a full and thorough inspection carried out. I have been given recommendations on required work. I am very impressed with the knowledge of Colin and Dave. Both been with MB for some time and know their fair share of technical information.

They are very reasonably priced and very friendly( i was able to walk around the car while it was being worked).

Good work guys, I will for sure be recommending your service to all fellow MB owners.

Very nice to have meet you today Amo, and that lovely blue clk of yours!

For a 80.000 mile car she is in very good shape, nothing jumped out shouting help, just a couple of adjustments here and there, couple of small minor bits to change, but then shes 100%!

Very nice looking tidy car,

Will be a pleasure to work on her again!

Pleasure is all mine, We are very quick to pick on all the bad pointers but we should be equally quick to give good feedback too.

I will surely be taking a drive down again soon. Hopefully it will be Sunny this time

It makes a change from those at a desk who have not a clue about your faults, and the way that service should be done.

I think its more to do with how the customers are handled, you can charge £10 more if you give that extra special service.

We are taken for granted at the main dealers when they should appreciate the business we offer them.

This way hopefully we can change the culture of spending thousands at dealers and go to equally trained Indies

Agreed, having worked for main dealers and not having the customers in-put makes a big differnce to how you look at there car.

When the owner can see and hear what your talking about makes the owner aware of up and coming problems. As i said to Amo today, we are not trying to find faults, just pointing out what could turn in to a fault!!!

When you use a main dealer, you can watch from a window, the tech would proberly think (as i used to) i bet the owner would love to see this! if he found a fault!!

Everything i did today i showed Amo and expained it to him, that way he could see and go away with the understanding that we wasnt asking for major dosh, just this needs replacing or adjusting!

Thats the way i would like to be treated!
