Hi guys,

Colleague of mine has E55 AMG with old mobile phone kit installed for old Nokia 6210i. Is there any chance of him upgrading a cradle by simply connecting the wires for new cradle (old to new, red to red, blue to blue) or it definitely needs to go to Mercedes to be done for £1400.00.
Or is it possible to somehow connect Bluetooth to existing wiring?
Kind regards,

The Viseeo that Alfie sells will fix it a lot cheaper than £1400 and then you can use most bluetooth phones

Its a very good solution to this problem

There is a conversion "Braybrooks" do one it's around £1500. I have the same system. I have a 6210 with a spare sim card in it with the same numbers in it as my everyday phone N93i. I just put my N93i on divert to the number of the phone in the car when I get in and switch of divert when I get out - it works well Ive done that for a year and half know.

I bought the Viseeo from Alfie at Comand for my E55 (also had the old style system) and it worked very well. I use a Nokia E51. Only snag was that you had to upload every phone book entry one by one when unit first installed. Once done, never again.

Worked very well. Recommended.

IHave NTG 1
I also have UHI but no cradle or puck
I Have an AUX input and can play DVD's
I have a Sony Experia T (Android) phone with no Rsap (Tried with S/W addon)

The car must have some sort of BT KIT installed because I can scan, find my phone but when pairing it connects then disconnects about 2 seconds later.

The only BT on a 2005 model will be for a headset, never really worked...

If you have the UHI connector in the armrest then you need a ViseeO MB4.

I use one with my Android phone (Nexus 4)
