I have just bought a '99 300TD(Love it) and have got it booked in to have a mobile phone kit fitted (by Vodaphone not MB).
The last Merc I had (97 C200) had the glass mount ariel on the rear window and my radio reception was always poor......friend told me that the MB radio ariel is in the rear window and hence I was getting interferance from the mobile ariel ?....does anyone know if this would have been true ?...and does anyone have any ariel mount advice ? for an E300?.
Second problem I have the MB A10 CD Player in the car and the CD is 'slow' in that I load a CD and it can take up to a minute to start playing !!, then plays fine ...wierd.
