i have a 6210 nokia,in new s class i am having difficulty in using new 6310 nokia ,is there a conversion kit the phone looks the same and fits in the cradle

New control unit required cost about 185 pounds plus one hour labour

why change waht does 6310 do that 6210 doesn,t

I guess you're referring to the MB fitted phone kit, but I've both a 6210 and 6310i used daily with Nokia CARK91 kits. The only operational difference I've noticed is that the 6310i doesn't have the power sensing function - so doesn't switch itself on or off with the ignition. This isn't really a problem as I never leave it in the car, and a firmware upgrade would probably sort it. Other than that they work a treat and the Nokia kits are so easy to fit.

MB use a bespoke version of the cark91 and not the whole thing. I know all the new S classes come with 6310i's according to the options list i got in front of me :wink:
