monster key fob

hi i am a new have 2.5 td c class went to car tonight to unlock it it would not do it so i slid the key out of the side opened the door and alarm went off i thought if i got the key in it would deactiveate the alarm it did not so locked car back up it sorted its self fob still does not work renewed batt and put them in the right way still no joy need car to go wife disabled help please

its a 99 and has 3 lock /unlock/boot

one thing you can try is, open the car put the key in the ignition, does the ignition open? If it does then take the key out point it at the dome lamp and press unlock five times. then close the car and attempt to lock the car with the fob. It sometimes works. This is the simple key reset procedure.

key wont turn ign lock thanks any way looks like a new fob/key cheapest so far 140 ten day waiting time
