Hi anybody have merc 250 coup 2015 problem with crabbing on full lock had tracking checked all good tyres front wearing edges due to replace tyres any recommendations have pilot sport fitted at moment never had this on previous tyres

Never experienced the juddering on full lock, although have had a tapping sound which turned out to be a control arm needing replaced. Also my front tyres always wear on the outer side had the car looked at, adjusted and tracked countless times can’t seem to get away from it.

Crabbing always reminds me of Austin 1800, or better known as 'The Land Crab'

Buy budget tyres, I now run budgets tyres on all my cars now

Welcome. Crabbing got worse on my GLC last winter. New front tyres sorted it though, I think the problem tends to get worse as the tyres wear which means there's less flex on the tread so they skip more, especially when it’s cold.

Agreed. I had terrible crabbing on my Vclass. Changed both front tyres and they were getting s bit worn and problem disappeared. In fact, the car/van was like a different vehicle to drive and so much quieter
