More window dilemmas!

The passenger window on my 300 SL (1988) will go down but not up. But after repeated tries it sometimes does again.

Anyone any thoughts please? I tried swapping the fuses from driver to passenger door but with no change. If it can be mended, any idea if an absolute novice like me could do it or should I take it to a garage?

Sounds like the switch. Try another £10.38 I think.

Id agree with andy there, sounds like a worn switch. Like any electric motor they can sometimes stick when they get a bit older and worn....a few carefully aimed sprays of WD40 usually does the trick!
