some months ago a member posted this link http://www.motinfo.gov.uk/html/home.html & told how he used it to find the true mileage of the car he just bought so when i bought a car without history at auction last week i gave it a go to find the miles ok & it failed the last three tests with the fail list for every year & i now know a lot of work was done to pass each time & the parts replaced to pass like balljoints ect not bad for a free service

i am lucky to have parking for up to 10 cars in my drive so i can keep my saloon for a easy resto project as it runs so well & only needs some light bodywork to get it up to scratch

it's hard to find a good diesel at auction so i stuck with a 2.2 petrol but it's a sound old thing
