Took the beast in for the annual rip apart at the weekend, so there i was sat in the waiting room sweating for 1/2 hour while the guy wobbled, tweaked revved and pulled everything.
He came towards me with his clipboard looking all stern....i could see £££ disappearing from my wallet.
Was you looking to sell the car mate? Not really i said, whys that.
Solid little thing isnt it, he said, cant find a thing wrong with it, not bad for a 1987 motor....and he promptly handed me the MOT cert.
Needless to say i left with a big smile on my face!
