Muted in-built microphone

I have a 2004 Mercedes E220 cdi.
Recently the in built microphone has somehow gone to MUTE!
I can hear callers but they can`t hear me!
How can I reset this please!

Do you have COMAND? If so when on a call there will be a Mic soft key displayed ....

My phone module went down and did the same thing

It says in the Radio manual that you just press mic mut button but this does not reset!!
