please help i have a f reg(1988 ithink) 300te when i got it everything was fine then about 8 months later it kept dieing after about half a mile with out any warning all that happened was the ignition lights would come on once i had pulled over and stopped turned ignition off then turn it over and it was fine for about a mile then it would do it again this time i would flatten the battery trying to start it or leave it for a few hours then it would start again and then do the same on the way home.

one thing else its been of the road for about 6 months thought i would get it back on the road so charged battery and gave it a bit of a clean sprayed all contacts with wd40 and left it ticking over for about 2 hours with no problems wot so eva i have yet to take it on the road to try it out again thou
