My Aux Fan stays on when its hot outside

The above happen from a cold start as well as hot.

I have a W124 230TE and I have air con.

Any ideas.

From what I can remember you have 3 sensors right on top of the engine at the front, the front one I believe is the fan sensor, take the wire off and see if the fan still runs
