I have the above vehicle and have no complaints at all with the suspension, it's great! BUT, I have recently moved to Eastern Europe and my car is taking beating on the pathetic excuse for roads in this part of the world. Is there ANYTHING that I could do to have adjustable ride height? I would even sacrifice my super handling for a fixed ride height that is higher than my present one...I like my automobile too much to have it beaten up any more.
Does anyone have any suggestions? any ideas on what I can do?
It's wearing 215/55/16 rubber right now...and is a facelift W210 (9/99)

Thanks!

It may worth talking to MB about fitting Elegance springs while your over there. They will lift the car by over an inch and hopefully help you to avoid the worst of the damage. I would talk to a dealer about it because you may need to alter some of the suspension geometry when the springs are fitted.

I can now see why Lada cars are so popular over there, lol.

As Malcolm says, contact a dealer. Ask them how the local cars differ

You might get away with fitting smaller wheels and higher-profile tyres - depends on how big the discs & calipers are. This'd be the cheapest solution and you could keep the original wheels & tyres for Blighty
