My Boot won’t lock.

Hi all,

I have a problem with my boot, basically can’t lock it anymore. If I put a screwdriver in the latch it’s locking and also I can unlock it from any buttons after. When it’s unlocked can’t lock it, I’ve tried all buttons, tried to reset. I’ve called a few garages and they told me the latch need replaced? Is that the problem ? My model is C200 2017 Amg premium line.

Is there a metal key in the fob and a keyhole in the unlock/lock button on the boot to lock it?

Don’t think there is, just normal latch open and doesn’t lock no matter what I press.

Just changed the latch today, and now when I press the boot down manually it locks but none of the button works to close it. Do I have to reset somehow after I change latch or anything like that?
