My E320 TE 93 "K" Sportline refuses to turn over..

Hello

This car was working fine thil this am.
Wife parked car outside the house and pointed alarm remote at the car.
Nothing happened.

I checked further and to my dismay found the following does not work...

ALarm...(although when sitting in the car and activating the remote a relay could be heard)
Central locking
Electric boot closure
Engine does not turn over at crank position (although ignition comes on and all lights come up at 2 position.)

I have changed battery in alarm remote.

I have disconected and re-connected car battery.

All other electrics seem to be fine..ie windows, blower, A/C all seem to have power.


I have checked all fuses and the are fine...


Any ideas...?

even though all things seem to work its still possible there isnt enough cold cranking amps in the battery, in this case the engine wont crank try a boost start

The car is imobilised thats whats wrong Try all fuses in relation to alarm system.

You were right....
Although fuses appeared to be sound no 10 needed some encouragement...
