A few of you may remember that i introduced myself a few weeks back as a new member and that i was looking at an ML55AMG with an LPG convertion.

Well this coming tuesday or wednesday, depending on bank transfer speed, i will be picking it up! I am so excited. I have wanted a Merc for so many years now, i will admit i never thought an ML let alone an AMG would be my first one but i cant wait.

I do have lots of pictures on an email sent to me but despite my age i am useless with disputers so will leave it to another day or a meet up to show it off. (unless anyone can give me a quick 123 ABC guide)

It is an 02 plate black one. has loads of toys. But, the owner never uses the sat nav so it has never been updated in its 6 years of being in the car. will this be easy? or expensive? other than that it is brilliant.

Cant wait.

Gary.

Hi Gary that ML sounds great :D:D you just need to buy a new CD disc for the sat nav, it will be the DX version for that year, and get one with TMC

Think i might think about how much i will use it before i buy one. i have never used a satnav before and i have never struggled to find places so i might take my chances to be honest. but thank you for the link.

actually thats a lie, i have borrowed a mates twice. once to drive around france and once i cant remember where i was going but both times it ended up turned off on the back seat as it drove me up the wall. I find them very annoying.

Just picked it up. loads of fun although i did scare myself trying to drive the country route home like i used to with my recently departed Audi TT. AMG are good at suspension but nobody is good enough to make a ML corner like TT!

Mental note made, wind it in a bit until you are used to the size etc!

But seriously, such a lovely car!
