Here is my dilemma: The560 sec whilst grubby( aerofoil and spoilers yuch!) has only 77k on it, the parcel shelf is rotten as is the boot and the aircon doesnt work but it, drives beautifuly, How much should I offer ?
The 300ce24 91 H its in graphite with cream leather (143k)needs a water pump (I've been quoted £150 for the water pump part thru MB specialist)and a service, both are being sold on behalf of clients thru my regular (4yrs) MB specialist, how much for that ?
Or a dealer I don't know has a 30024 saloon K plate in cream leather blue black metallic has 130k on the clock he wants £2495 with extra £100 for the warranty, how much shall I offer ?, Reckons head gasket replaced last year.
or finally 92 J 500sec in blue with blue leather 160k history but not MB recent or specialist, private sale, valve seals replaced last year, no spoilers or aerofoils, rear window seals need replacing, cruise doesn't work, his price I reckon to be about £3500, what should I offer him ?

560sec and 300ce24and 30024 and 500sec

As before with 560SEC & 300ce -24, WISE. They are two completly different cars. That 500 v8 engine is similar to 560 (both M117) would be the older one I think (no cat). Dont think the m119 went in sec. In Sl okay, but replaced with greener m113 in about 98.

Bottom line, only you can decide. Drive a few and get the feel for them. Then you should be able to decide what car. Then you can decide what engine.

560sec,30024 dilemma, need to make an offer

So is £2495 too much for a 300 24 valve saloon in midnight with cream leather (130k) ?
What should I be looking for on inspection for all these cars?
And what about that 560 sec (77k) with the aerofoil ,broken aircon,rotten parcel shelf ?
The 300ce24 coupe graphite with cream (143k) ?
I need to make an offer on all three next week.
