This is my review of the iCarSoft CR MAX Diagnostic machine which was lent to me from the guys over at LJM - who are the only offical supplier of iCarsoft units in the UK

No only the one I linked (LJM) is the UK official supplier

Just checked with them, there are a couple of UK registered suppliers, however LJM are the largest / most number of Trust pilot reviews.

Got my CR ( 10 manufacturers ) version from here. They will set up 1 vehicle manufacturer before despatch as well if you ask them..

@KillerHERTZ Thanks for the review video. Looking at the unit it appears that it would be very useful, especially for those on the forum that do a fair amount of their own servicing work.

@KillerHERTZ - great review and endorses the research I have done myself on the CR Max over the last month.

I have just purchased the CR Max using the discount code you kindly arranged.

LJM also provided an excellent customer service and responded to a query I had pre-purchase in a very timely manner, so very impressed with the service and with the discount code couldn't ask for more. I had sent the same query to numerous other suppliers, but had zero response...

I bought a CR Max last year, also from LJM. Must say great service from them.

The tool has been great for interrogating all the modules and performing service functions on brakes, actuator tests etc.
I was a little under whelmed by the live data though. For my old Merc data they've decided to group data into catagories, eg Starting. At any one time you can only see the data they've decided you might find useful for that category. I want a free choice.
The update rate is slow too, 1s. It's clearly the tool, with the Delphi kit, no such limitations.

On a other car in the household live data is better, no enforced categories, just one big list.

I'd be keen to know if live data is the same on other Merc models and/or the other MB specific iCarsoft tools.
