You may remember my posts, firstly about her bad behaviour and needing the new ECU, then perfect running and now she's leaking more oil than an over spilled tanker.

Garage told me the head gasket is leaking oil, so she's going back to garage on Thursday. I'm hoping all is well when she reappears a few days later. I am due a visit to Cardiff soon and I severely hate public transport as I normally attract the weirdo/drunk to the seat beside me....

I just hope that this is the end of the saga for a few months?

Well I hope it's smaller jobs from now on, but it's the inconvience of taking her to her 2nd home the garage every few weeks!

I thought it was more smile at them and they think they're in there!

Smile at some people and it's "what the **** you laughing at!" following by smack in the chops!

Only by washing down the engine with a de greaser can you see where the oil is coming from. The fan blows it all over and makes it very hard to tell. get a degreaser spray it all over and wash it down carefully take care not to get water on the electrics. The most common place is where the timing cover meets the head. Not wanting to scare, but in the worse case if a ring was broken it could give crancase comperession and blow the oil out. Only when it is clean and see where the oil is coming from would anyone know for sure.

Oh no :( The garage had cleaned it all up when I sent it in before, they didn't charge for a look at it which was pretty decent.

It seems to of covered the engine guard at the bottom after 2 weeks of being cleaned, and it's leaking over the exhaust and causing it to burn under there...

Once that jobs done, air con needs regassing!
