You might get some strange requests....keep your kilt on.. ;)

Especially if you leave your kilt on - there's a whole market for "upskirt". :) Google it.

White Mini

I never realised white was such a horrible colour to detail.

This is the first time the Mini has been detailed and also the first time I've done a white car. The paintwork was not too bad but the bonnet looked like someone had been using a credit card to scrape bird poo off and left some nasty scratches.

I have made a start on the Range Rover after using it throughout the winter. It was covered in grime which has stuck to the paint, tar salt and general winter muck had left it's mark and although difficult to see it can be felt if you rub the back of your hand over the paint.

I started by washing and thoroughly drying the vehicle, then I applied Meguiars Paint Cleanser which removed the ingrained filth, then a polish with my usual A Grade polish to remove any blemishes and marks, followed by a coat of Chemical Guys EZ Glaze and finally a coat of Autoglym HD Wax.

This is the muck that was removed using the Meguiars Paint Cleanser

Starting to take shape now with a nice deep shine but still a couple of marks to remove at this stage

The good thing about detailing the Range Rover this time round is the swirl marks are few and far between, so no machine polishing this time, all done by hand

A diesel
I never realised white was such a horrible colour to detail.
White's easy to clean up, but like silver it offers very little contrast so no depth and shape.

Now you're showing off (and why not).

Cheers John
Just trying to show what is possible, if you look back at earlier posts the paintwork on this vehicle was in a terrible mess and with a little knowledge and a lot of effort most paint defects can be repaired rather than repainting
