My satnav is showing an incorrect location

My COMAND system satnav seems to get lost. ie it is showing a totally incorrect location. This has happened a few times before but it has been lost for 3 days now. i have tried to reset the system but it does not reboot and try to find a new location. i have ejected the DVD in the boot but that does not work. The DVD is from 2005/6 and the car is a 2006 E class. does anyone have any ideas what to do? thanks

How many satellites is it picking up shown in the top right

As malcolm, the antennas are really common to go wrong. doesnt pick up any satellites and looses your position.

It is not showing any satellites at all. I have booked it into the dealers to have a look at. Thank you for your help

E220cdi 2005 with same problem last year- resolved by dealer fitting new roof aerial (clipped over rear windscreen type) under warranty - I was not alone, mine was number four recently fitted, and water ingress, probably due to pressure washing, cause of failure - no idea of cost as warranty fix but took two hours (my waiting time) - hope this helps
