My Three Pointed Star has been borrowed....

Have a W124 '93 E320. Someone has borrowed our Three Pointed Star that was on the bonnet....

I can buy a replacement for around £15....

Any other suggestions.....Ideally I would like ont hat emits 125,000v if is moved more than 30 degrees off the vertical....

think of it a a sort of indirect tax that Merc owners have to pay - budget for losing one a year :(

We've toyed with the ideas of sharpening the edges, wiring it to the alarm, or as you say connecting it to a 125k volt supply -before abandining the idea on the grounds that we'd no doubt end up getting sued we decided that it would need to be DC rather than AC as that would be far more fun :)

Many thanks for replies...Spike...is that a clever bit of video..if so you should work for dreamworks.....if not where do get one..?

Actually, I have been considering getting a batch of a few hundred made up for a long time.

There's always something more pressing to do though. One day however I will get around to it.

I guess the first thing is to find a reasonable machine shop that would be willing to make them up for a sensible figure. Unfortunately, making them in these relatively small numbers makes the unit cost to expensive to be finantially viable. As I cant see people being willing to spend £200 on a pneumatic badge when the original is only £15.
