As some of you will know (from Ollies wonderful meet) that I went to MB world on the way home as its kind of on the way and a long long way from where I stay so I'd pop in. Here is what I saw
looks the biz there, liked the new E-Class and especially its coupe but the old stuff is the best.
pity they are so scared about showing things they made from the thirties and forties as that would be even more interesting.
Aye its well worth seeing if you are ever in that neck of the woods.
The new E coupe looks really fab in the flesh but the 212 is a bit "drab". Looked a bit plasticy in there too
The 600 "Big" is quite a car in reality, massive doesn't do it justice and the Gullwing simply exquisite. It was a real privilidge to be able to see one in the flesh and they are worth every penny of the mad prices they get now.
Booked up for a local innkeepers lodge for a few days during the Glasgow fair so me and my two boys will go for a look along with the Brooklands museum.
